We‘ve been a Zillertal farming family for generations. Long before they thought of renting out guest rooms, our ancestors farmed the meadows and fields and lovingly cared for their livestock. Farmers with passion - that's what we were, and still are. And we’re not planning on stopping, because having our own meat and milk is worth its weight in gold. That's why we still run our own farm with dairy cows, just as they did back then. This has now grown into a modern free stall barn with a milking machine. But we’ve never lost our connection to and affection for our animals. Each cow has a name and its own character. Recently, 200 feathered friends also moved into a mobile poultry shed and provide fresh eggs for your breakfast. Did you know that the yolk in eggs from free-range chickens has a very special colour?
